Resetting application integration dialog boxes

If you open a file dialog in a Windows application that is unknown to TeamWork, a TeamWork dialog box will appear, prompting you to select whether the command you just executed opens files or saves files. This is a one-time-only request so that TeamWork then understands the purpose of the dialog box. If you make an incorrect choice, the wrong TeamWork application integration dialog box will appear and the same type of files cannot be opened from or saved in the vault, depending on which choice you made.

To reset your application integration dialog box choices:

  1. Open the Windows Registry Editor and locate the following key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Cyco\AutoManager TeamWork\Current Version\AM Hook\Contexts
  2. Delete the registry key that corresponds to the application’s executable, for example, ACAD.EXE. You may then choose correctly the next time you are prompted.
